I stayed up super late two nights in a row so I could color this thing in a more special way because yeah stuff is happening! The next 4 pages should be interesting when i eventually get to them. 

My head canon for Tornonbor's species that's based on dex entries is that Exeggutor can basically "shed" heads or in this case the term "reset" is coined for this process. Why this is so is because of the process in which heads are shed. Basically as a head grows and ages it will eventually reach a capacity in which the tree trunk all heads are attached to will shed it forcing it to "de-evolve" or reset itself back into that less powerful form of an Exeggcute. It does this so new heads can grow. Essentially this means Exeggutor can asexually reproduce for as long as the tree trunk remains unharmed. As an Exeggutor, all memories are stored within the tree trunk and accessible to the collective of heads. An older tree trunk that's managed to survive for 100's of years can house incredibly wise and experienced minds. When a head falls off it is severed from its old memories and identity, and by doing so newly reset Exeggcute no longer know who they were before falling off unless they are told. Fallen heads essentially can make up a cluster of exeggcute and these clusters can be comprised of heads of vastly varying ages. In fact a head, if it takes good care of itself, can live several life times, evolving and resetting in an endless loop. Apparently willpower and  the use of psychic energy can delay this process from happening if a head does not wish to reset just yet. 

This info will be clearly stated in comic eventually, but I want to avoid being called out and explain my reasoning for future things and and how I'm technically staying in canon with this whole resetting business. Pokemon can't de-evolve normally but hey this pokemon can apparently haha. I tried to make it as close too being "reborn" as I could however so exeggcute can't be like level 70 because they reset. Nope they have to start from square one aaaaall over again because they know absolutely nothing again. That dex entry was just so fascinating to not play around with though waaaay back when I was beginning to set up plot things.
