It had been a long day. As much as Lennon enjoyed being a part of the Researchers' Guild, he had to admit that sometimes it could be really tiring work. It didn't help that his partner, Manus, would often get himself into all sorts of trouble. At the very least, the ghost usually prevented any task from becoming dull, and he was grateful for that. However, after today, all Lennon wanted to do was to sit down and relax for the rest of the evening.

“Ah, home sweet home,” said Manus as they approached their room, “'Bout time we kick back and reeeeelaaaaax.”

“No kidding,” replied Lennon as he opened to door, “Though you're the one who made that mess in the first place, remember?”

“No, I don't,” said the Spiritomb, but his voice suddenly heightened in pitch as he blurted, “But I do! That was lots and lots of fun!”

Lennon rolled his eyes and entered the room, followed by the bouncing Spiritomb before he closed the door. He then turned his attention to the collection of figurines sorted neatly on their shelves. They were all wooden sculptures of Pokemon whom he had met during his time in Andalusst; mementos to remind himself of those meetings, and he was quite proud of his craftsmanship. He had used varying methods for each piece, but each one involved hours of perfecting the little details which accompanied each 'mon.

The Gligar then turned his attention to his desk, where there lay an unfinished sculpture he had been working on for a while now. It was that of a Shinx, one which he had been meaning to finish a long time ago, but with the sudden influx of work he had been unable to put in the finishing touches. The light shining through the window revealed that it was the twilight hour as the sun slowly sank over the horizon. It would be night time soon, and there wouldn't be much light left for him to finish the piece. Removing his hat and hanging it by the door, he walked over to his desk to finish what he started.

Manus, recognizing what Lennon meant to do, took it upon himself to light the lamp on the ceiling as Lennon sparked a flint to light the candle on his desk. Manus' gaze then quickly turned to the wooden statue of Regigigas standing under the window.

“Oh, oh, oh! Remember the time the Great Statue came in and destroyed our old place?” blurted the Spiritomb as he lifted the statue up with Psychic, “It was like, 'Raaawwr,' and you were like 'oh my god!' and then BOOM, the whole place came crashing down!” Other figurines then floated off their shelves and began circling around the wooden Regigigas as Manus continued, “And then other pokemon came in and were like 'stop you giant fiend!' And then wow, pow, kapow, they started fighting! And then...”

Lennon simply resumed carving the figurine, eyeing the imperfections in the wood before carefully peeling off a section with his claw. He glanced up to see Manus playing with the completed models and smiled. What happened to them before didn't matter much to him anymore. He was home.
